News & Info

SWINE FLU VACCINATION PROGRAMME - NOTICE TO PATIENTS                        We have now sent out all the letters for the first four groups of patients in the at risk categories.  If you haven't received a letter and feel that you should be eligible, please contact the surgery.

We are currently running the second phase of the swine flu vaccination programme for all children from 6 months to five years of age.  If you haven't received a letter for your child and feel that they should be eligible, please contact the surgery

If you have flu-like symptoms,

please DO NOT come to the surgery.

Please remain at home.  You can check your symptoms in two ways:

  • Calling the Swine flu Information Line on 0800 1 513513 or
  • NHS Direct online via the website - www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk or by telephone - 0845 4647

Thank you for your cooperation as we need to try and avoid passing on the flu at the surgery.  We need to keep well so that we can meet the needs of those with swine flu, as well as looking after the rest of our patients, many of whose problems and needs are more serious than those currently associated with swine flu.

Be scrupulous with personal hygiene – i.e. good hand washing and use of tissues to avoid spreading germs.

Further advice and guidance can be found on the Surrey Primary Care Trust website and/or the Health Protection Agency website.

Please contact the Surgery as normal to book these appointments.  If you have any questions on the Extended Hours Service, please contact the Surgery.

Please note that on Saturdays the Surgery will not be open for any normal business and will not be able to deal with urgent cases.  These will continue to be handled by the Thamesdoc Out-of-hours service.  Patients should continue to contact Thamesdoc as normal on 0208-390-9991
